• Advisory for Founders & Government

Sun:IT partners with founders, investors, agencies and ecosystem builders who are serious about the India–New Zealand digital corridor and the global Indian tech diaspora.

Typical work includes India readiness sprints for founders, diaspora activation pilots for agencies, and strategy blocks for multi‑stakeholdercorridor initiatives. We’ll scope outcomes first, then agree fees together.

Below are the core ways I work with clients. All advisory isdelivered by me, backed by 30+ years across enterprise IT, cross‑border delivery and India–NZ relations.

India Readiness Sprint – from curiosity to a clear decision
This sprint is for founders and leadership teams who are India‑curiousbut not yet India‑committed. Over two 90‑minute working sessions (typicallyover 2 weeks), we will:
    - map your product, customer and GTM assumptionsagainst India realities
    - identify the specific segments and use‑cases(if any) where India makes sense
    - surface the regulatory, talent and partnership questionsyou must answer early

You’ll receive a short, written summary with a simpleoutcome: go / no‑go / how‑to‑go, plus the first 2–3 moves if you choose to proceed. Typical clients: B2B SaaS, AI and services businesses in NewZealand or Australia.

Diaspora Activation Sprint – turning intent into pilots
Many strategies and speeches talk about the value of theIndian diaspora; far fewer turn that intent into practical pilots. This sprint is designed for ministries, agencies, councils, industry bodies and ecosystem builders who want to move beyond talk.

In a half‑day workshop plus follow‑up session we will:
    - map the Indian tech/digital diaspora and alumni assetsalready connected to your institution
    - identify 2–3 concrete pilots (for example: corridor‑themedevents, founder exchanges, advisory circles ortargeted delegations)

You’ll receive a short action memo you can share internallyto secure support and resources.

Digital Corridor Strategy Block – designing something that lasts
This is for serious cross‑border plays: multi‑stakeholder corridor initiatives, government programmes, or corporate strategies that span New Zealand, India and the wider Indian tech diaspora. Over 4–6 weeks (light‑touch but focused), we will:
    - clarify what you are really trying to achieve and what youwill not do
    - map the key actors (public, private, diaspora, alumni, platforms) and where they naturally fit
    - design a small set of coherent, testable initiativesinstead of a long wish‑list

You’ll receive a concise corridor strategy document designedto be read and used, not archived.

    How I work
    - All work is done directly by me, not a junior team.
    - I prefer short, sharp engagements that lead to concretemoves rather than indefinite retainers.
    - A short exploratory conversation is usually the firststep. If there’s a clear way I can help, we then agree scope, format and fees
    before any substantive work begins.

If you’d like to discuss a potential engagement, the simplest next step is to contact me here and we’ll schedule an initial call.
